Fall Once
I'm allowed to fall once and once in awhile
And not run away from my barriers
These are not pebbles or rubies I stumble over
But strings of air, thin tiny threads of you that hang all over.
When I walk and it drizzles on my steps to you
When I breathe and take in a lot of you in a place
We don't hang out in these halls anymore
so how do you keep me from falling to only catch you in my thoughts
Delicate thoughts that grow stronger in the scents of you
I passed by
where we met second
My feet never tire from taking the same path twice
I have kept you in the air so your perfume I can breathe.
